Breakages and Shortages
Check shipments carefully upon arrival. Do not accept a damaged package until the carrier makes an inspection. It is also important to check that you have received all items listed on your packing slip before discarding packaging. Shipments containing concealed damage or shortages must be reported to and inspected by the carrier within two days. Save all shipping containers and packing material for the inspection. At times, shipment of your order may be divided into more than one package. Please wait two days, but no longer than five, before filing a claim. Please retain the original box and packaging until your claim is resolved.
We do not charge a return, restock or other fees for returned items. However, for items we do not keep in stock, or are specially ordered, the manufacturer may charge us a small return or restock fee. If we are charged a fee for returning an item, the customer is required to pay that fee.
If you wish to return an item you have purchased, please contact us to receive proper shipping instructions. Make sure you have received an RGA number from us before you return your item(s).
Warranty and Liability
Colonial Scientific warrants that the descriptions of catalog items reflect the manufacturers' representations. We disclaim all other warranties whether expressed, implied or statutory, including the warrant of merchantability and fitness for use. Colonial Scientific will not be liable for consequential damages arising from the use of products described herein.
