This reader eliminates eye strain and makes investigations faster and more accurate. The 76 mm (3 in.) coated lens has a 3X magnification with a 5X magnification insert near the edge. Lens is illuminated by a focused bulb operating on two C cells and controlled by a three-position switch; on, off and momentary on. The X-ray film placed under the lens is illuminated and areas of investigation are pinpointed by the black guide bar. To aid in determining results, the guide bar is divided in 1 cm increments. Batteries not included.
