Labconco* Kjeldahl Rapid Digestor-25

Provides rapid digestions for nitrogen determination of 1 to 25 samples up to 2 grams using 250 ml tubes. Constructed of 25 individual ceramic heaters surrounded by 1 in. thick insulation board housed in chemically-etched aluminum casing with two fold-down handles. A heater element is encapsulated in each heater module. Five platinum temperature sensors are encased in the ceramic monitor each of the five heaters. Capable of reaching 410ºC in less than one hour. Separate controller has power switch and a solid-state stepless temperature control knob, factory calibrated from ambient to 450ºC. Features a 6 ft electrical cord and 7 ft electrical line to connect the digestor to the controller. Electrical plug is required (not included). Includes carrier rack made of aluminum alloy with two plastic handles and two removable heat shields. Requires 250 ml digestion tubes and fume removal system (not included). Operation inside a fume hood is strongly recommended.
