The Vortex-Genie* 1 Touch Mixer is a constant high-speed mixer which is easy to use and provides the strongest vortex mixing available in any mixer. Operator simply holds the container on the mixing head and the mixer starts automatically at maximum speed. Stops on release.
The Vortex-Genie* 2 mixer blends fluids quickly and thoroughly with a true vortex action that prevents spilling, even when tubes must be uncapped. It is capable of ranges from gentle yet thorough shaking action to extremely vigorous vortexing depending on the attachment chosen. The operator completely controls the mix of test tubes, beakers and flasks by varying the speed of the motor and/or the angle of contact and pressure against the mixing head. Variable speed control allows precise mixing from a gentle shake to aggressive vortexing action. Accurate control of the speed and intensity of the mix ensures easily reproducible results. A 3-position power switch lets you select continuous action, or Touch On control.
The familiar Vortex-Genie* 2 is now available with an integrated automatic timer. The Vortex-Genie* 2T is a rugged, reliable, versatile vortex mixer with an integral automatic timer which can be used both in Touch or Hands-Free mode. Unit will automatically turn off after set time. Touch mode: 1 - 60 seconds; Hands-free mode (switch activated Start/Stop): 1 - 60 minutes. Accuracy: �5%. Repeatability: �1%. Can also be used on continuous untimed mode. Built of a solid 8.8 lbs (4 kg) metal casting with rubber feet that prevent walking. All units include pop-off cup and 3 in. platform head except Vortex-Genie 1 which includes pop-off cup only. 120V.
