Automatic, convenient and rapid melting point determination. Automatically determines the sample temperature and displays the value to an accuracy of 0.1°C. Operation of the FP62 is learned in next to no time. After entry of the start temperature and heating rate, the melting point determination is started by a keystroke. The FP62 has an RS232 connection for reliable data recording. With the GA42 alphanumeric printer, all relevant data can be printed out automatically and filed as a document meeting GLP demands. With use of the printer, you can plot the change in the light transmittance of your sample directly, thus allowing the analysis of even critical samples. The furnace temperature is displayed continuously, corrected in proportion to the selected heating rate and recorded as the sample temperature as soon as the melting point is reached.
