Push-button operation for maximum/minimum memory storage, reset memory, hold and °C or °F. Keypad membrane is water resistant. Calibration runs automatically after setup. It also has selectable auto shut-off, which permits continuous monitoring or shuts off after 20 minutes of no use. Also features a recorder output for documenting data.
