Mercury-Free Laboratory Thermometers

Glass thermometers are made to SAMA specifications for range and accuracy. They all feature mercury expansion chambers, reinforced bulbs to prevent breakage, horizontally printed scales for easy reading, ring tops, nonroll caps and scales printed into the glass. Red, mercury-free, liquid thermometers are suitable for most applications, and are safer, easier to read and less expensive. Use mercury for temperatures above 150°C, or when especially high accuracy is required. White back. Red organic filled. Calibrated at 76 mm immersion.
