NapFLOW 1200 Class II/Type A/B3 Biosafety Cabinets
Class II Type A/B3 biological safety cabinets are often called convertible cabinets because of the similarity between the Type A and Type B designs. Class II Type A cabinets are ductless and discharge approximately 30% of the recirculated air back into the laboratory space. Class II Type B3 cabinets are Type A units that have been modified by the addition of a duct adapter to connect the cabinet to a facility exhaust system. The duct and exhaust system are not part of the cabinet but must capture the exhaust from the unit.
. Rounded interior corners in the one-piece chamber are easily decontaminated
. Half speed setting for the fan when the cabinet is not in use. This feature conserves energy and reduces noise pollution in the laboratory
. Optional UV light is contained in a removable sash opening closure. This design eliminates the danger of accidental exposure to UV light
. Painted interior workspace walls eliminate the glare associated with the more common stainless steel interior
. Corrosion-resistant polyester coating on the interior can withstand all common sanitizing materials such as chlorinated water and formalin
