Toxicap* 800 Ductless Filtering Fume Hoods

The safest ductless filtering fume hoods available on the market today. All Toxicaps come standard with both primary and safety backup carbon molecular filters. Toxicap hoods are the only ductless filtering fume hoods in the world that comply with both CSA Z316.5 and AFNOR NF X 15-211 Class 1 ductless fume hood filtration efficiency standards. Toxicap 800 is fully equipped and includes standard backup safety filters and detection chamber, filter saturation detection kit, built-in light, air velometer and base with a deep spill tray. A list of chemicals and their retention capacities is supplied with each Toxicap. Two units available: Type C for gases and Type NU for gases and fumes (particles).
Type C: for gases, vapors and odors.
Type C Captair filters are designed to filter out any evaporation transformed into a gaseous state (evaporation of solvents, acids, unpleasant smelling compounds, etc.). Their filtration system includes a highly efficient molecular filter.
Type NU: for gases, vapors or odors, plus fumes (particles)
Captair filter hoods of type NU are identical to other Captair filter units, but their filtration system has an additional filter to trap the type of particles found in fumes.
Choice of Captair Filtair filters:
Filtair organic vapor and acid gas filters are polyvalent and can be used for most handlings with organic and acid vapors. Nevertheless, we recommend organic vapor filters for applications where organic vapors predominate and acid gas filters for applications where acid vapors predominate.
