Portable pipetting aid with built-in memory has three modes of operation: auto stop during aspiration, step pipetting during dispensing and regular pipetting. To have a volume memorized simply aspirate (or dispense) that volume (up to 25 ml). Once in "set"� mode, switch to run. Max Pipettor will aspirate and stop at the desired set volume until the pipette is empty. A thumb wheel dial allows adjustment of the speed. A venting system protects the unit while pipetting corrosives. Auto "sleep"� function prolongs battery life by turning the power off when the unit is in idle mode; the last setting is saved in memory. Accepts all standard glass and plastic pipettes from 1 ml to 75 ml with a mouth OD 3 to 9.9 mm. The pipette holder can be autoclaved. A self-contained replaceable hydrophobic 0.2 micron filter prevents overfilling. Trigger-style buttons control filling and dispensing. Battery charger included.
