Heavy duty unit features HOLD function which freezes the reading on the display, HI and LO keys which recall the temperature extremes and a °C/°F function which switches from Centigrade to Fahrenheit. It reads with a resolution of 0.1°C in the range of -50.0° to 150°C and 0.1°F in the range of -58.0° to 302.0°F. The resolution is 1°C from -50° to 950°C and 1°F in the range from -58° to 1742°F. Operates for approximately 500 hours on four 1.5V AA batteries (included).
