Level 1 prepared items are processed according to EPA recommended wash procedures. Each container is lot numbered for traceability. With cleaning procedure A, these will meet or exceed EPA standards for metals, pesticides and semi-volatiles. With procedure B, they meet or exceed EPA standards for volatiles.
Level 3 containers are assembled and meet EPA recommended guidelines for sample container material component specifications but do not receive an EPA washing treatment. Ready for your own cleaning procedure.
