These bottles are similar to our clear safety coated bottles, but manufactured from amber glass (meets USP Type III standards) to protect light-sensitive samples.
The PVC-based plastisol safety coating resists breakage and helps protect against broken glass.
The strength, slip resistance and impact absorption qualities of the plastisol coating reduce the chance of breakage and exposure to laboratory personnel in handling hazardous materials.
Bottles help meet OSHA requirements. They also facilitate pickup of radioactive materials by remote manipulators.
Not autoclavable.
Metal foil liners are generally more resistant to organic solvents.
Polyethylene (LDPE) lined or Poly-Seal* LDPE cone lined cap for distilled water, analytical standards and reagents.
Teflon* liners are inert to most chemicals.
