Automatic Compaction

 This automatic Soil Compaction Machine is designed to quickly produce samples without sacrificing the accuracy of manual hand compaction.

• 56"H x 16 ½"W x 30"D
• Maximum height in operation is 66"
• 5.5lb and 10lb circular faced and pie shaped hammers
• One each of a 4" and 6" mold
• Performs standard or modified compaction tests with the 5.5lb hammer an 12" drop or the 10lb hammer with an 18" drop
• Accommodates 4" or 6" I.D. molds
• 4" round hammer or the 6" pie faced hammer compensates for sample drop during compaction
• Automatic counter can be set to stop the machine when preset number of blows has been reached
• Compaction mold mounts securely to the round base
• Base rotates automatically with each blow to ensure uniform compaction

Be sure to use pie shaped compactor foot with 6" mold to obtain complete surface coverage.
