Thermolyne's NCAT Asphalt Content Tester measures content of bituminous paving moistures accurate to 0.11%. This will provide a clean sample for gradation analysis. Simply enter the sample weight, calibration factor, load, push start, push stop at the beep, and sign receipt.
Time Saver
- Accomodates samples up to 4000g
- 24 hour timer allows the furnace to be ready when you need to use it
- Test is automatic, allowing the technician to perform other duties
- 1500 gram sample can be tested in 30-45 minutes due to the NCAT's ignition method
- Internal Balance that records the weight throughout ignition. Balance +0.1 grams
Cost Effective
- Standard 30 amp electrical service required is much cheaper than competitive models 40-5 amp maintenance
- No costly solvents or disposal expenses needed for the ignition method
- Rugged refractory embedded heating element plates increase service life
Software Features
- Allows input of + correction factor
- Adjustable Sensitivity 0.01% to 0.04% with automatic endpoint detection within 0.01%
- Choice between manual or automatic test mode
- Automatically adjusts temperature for weight change due to sample and basket assembly temperature change. This is computed for every sample load that is tested.
- Calibrates asphalt content per weight of HMA sample or bitumen ratio per weight of aggregate
- RS232 port provides data exchange for a personal computer for graphical data analysis.
